The essence of FINN-POWER Services function is long-term, versatile cooperation with the customer for real added value. The service have one general aim - to help the customer reach maximum performance and productivity of his manufacturing technology.

1. Call Centres - Specialist Support
In each FINN-POWER sales area, qualified FINN-POWER service specialists are on duty to provide help in the customer's own language. When required they also have immediate access to advice from FINN-POWER's global specialist centres.

2. Maintenance Agreements
Maintenance agreements are the modern way of ensuring maximum availability of manufacturing technology. Our customers have a choice of several types of maintenance agreements, ranging from basic maintenance to extensive agreements, which combine FINN-POWER's overall know-how, flexibility, guaranteed response times, original spare parts, the latest teleservice applications and expert consultancy.

With maintenance agreements FINN-POWER is able to assume more responsibility for the customer equipment and let him concentrate on his essential task - production planning and improvement of manufacturing efficiency.

3. Teleservice
Teleservice means using modern telecommunication technology to overcome difficulties caused by geographical distance. Installing special equipment and software in a machine tool or manufacturing system allows real-time monitoring from our Finland Headquarters via telephone connection or Internet. Many problems can be solved at minimum cost and minimum downtime through on-line cooperation. And should a service call turn out to be necessary, the specialist starts his trip having access to complete information of the case at hand.

4. Field service
We are proud of our multi-skilled, international field service staff that work in close cooperation with product specialists at FINN-POWER companies.

Teleservice and telediagnostics make it possible to utilize in-depth know-how at a geographical distance. This requires efficient data management, which provides specialists with machine data and service history. What has remained unchanged amidst all this development is the qualifications of a field service specialist: it still takes the same technically competent, customer oriented analyst as it used to - only now the systems and equipment in use are far more advanced.

5. Spare parts
We have developed several complementary systems to speed up eventual delivery of critical spare parts to make ASAP mean real soon. Naturally, we recommend that the customer stocks a specific set of wear parts, and can propose various spare part stock solutions either at the customer's facility or at a FINN-POWER service outlet. FINN-POWER operates a logistics centre in Ghent, Belgium, for overnight deliveries in Europe.

6. Upgrades and extensions
Technological improvement helps machinery live. With new components and modular extensions the performance of machinery can be improved on its original level.

A typical case in point is FINN-POWER's Flexible Manufacturing technology. Cells can be changed or added, the central storage can be expanded etc. as you operation grows.

7. Modernizations
Replacing existing machinery by new is often not the only possibility there is - nor need the result of a complete overhaul be only the restoration of original performance. The modularity of the FINN-POWER product range often allows upgrading of a machine or manufacturing systems years after the original delivery.
